Dog Training Services, Programs, Classes, and Socialization Sessions
At Kismet Canine Training, all of our programs are built around one core belief: dogs learn best in real homes, living real lives. Whether your dog is staying with us for an in-home Board & Train or working through private lessons in your own home, training happens in calm, realistic environments. Not loud kennel facilities or artificial training spaces.
During our in-home Board & Train programs, dogs live in a structured household setting where they can relax, nap on couches, go on neighborhood walks, and safely experience everyday life, including visitors and routine household activity. This allows dogs to truly rest and decompress while learning, rather than staying in a constant state of stress or overstimulation.
For private lessons, we work directly in your home and neighborhood to address the behaviors that matter most to you: household boundaries, leash walking, guest manners, and real-world distractions. Because training happens where the behavior actually occurs, results are more practical, more sustainable, and easier to maintain long term.

Home Foundations
- The Home Foundations Lessons helps your dog learn how to behave calmly and respectfully in your daily life.

Board & Train
Leash Clarity
- Leash Clarity is a one-week program designed to completely change the way your dog walks with you.
- Instead of pulling, zigzagging, or dragging you toward every dog or distraction, your dog learns how to stay by your side and stay focused.
- We practice in neighborhoods, trails, and busy parks so the results that work in your real life.
- After the program, we show you exactly how to keep up training at home.
- This is the perfect choice if walks have become stressful, embarrassing, or something you dread.

Kismet Reset
- The Kismet Reset is a three-week program for dogs who bark, lunge, counter-surf, raid the trash, antagonize the cats, pick fights at the dog park, struggle at the vet or groomer, charge the fence, or lose control around people, dogs, or house guests.
- This program is built for families who feel frustrated, embarrassed, or worn out by their dog’s behavior and don’t know how to get back on track.
- During the program, your dog learns how to stay calm, make better choices, behave politely around people and other dogs, and handle everyday situations without spiraling.
- It is ideal for dogs with reactivity or moderate aggression and for owners who want a dog they can finally trust.
- By the end of the Kismet Reset, your dog will be easier to manage and you’ll have a clear plan for how to continue improving at home.
Peacekeeper Program
- The Peacekeeper Program is a five-week intensive for dogs whose behavior has crossed into serious territory such as biting, growling at family members, guarding food or toys, or fighting with other dogs in the home.
- It is built for owners who feel anxious, scared, or unsure how to safely handle their dog anymore.
- Your dog follows a highly structured plan that teaches them safer behavior, better self-control, and healthier ways to respond when they feel stressed or challenged.
- You learn exactly how to manage your dog, prevent dangerous situations, and maintain safety and stability in your home.
